The Royalty of Elftown

You are sitting atop you horse, or pony, whichever you choose to ride. Upon looking toward the sky, you spot a large, stone castle, massive and surrounded by a wide moat, as to keep out dangers. The drawbridge is lowered; the inhabitants have been expecting you.
You click your tongue, urging your beast to follow the trail towards the castle, and with a look of regret behind you, you cross the moat.

2005-11-16 [Duke Devlin]: uh yeh, i will in a bit kk

2005-11-16 [Duke Devlin]: its just 'The Duke of Dice'

2005-11-17 [lordjoesnow]: c'mon now children, lets dance

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: does anyone know how 2 tie a noose? i have some peasents that want 2 undermine my rule

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: well, to avoid a noose around your neck, how about you type out "to" instead of looking like an illiterate moron. (ack! that was mean! Bad Kelaria! be nice >.< *hates IM speech with a passion!!!*

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: ok im sorry i was in a hurry.

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: That's no excuse. Especially since it's only ONE letter difference >.<

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: like i said im sorry. im just so use to typing like that. so what should i do about the underminding peasents?

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: Well, depends on what exactly they are doing. Could you elaborate?

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: i said no carnival this year and they decided to have it anyways so i told them to disperse and a few of them decided to rebel. i want to cause them a slow and painful death

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: And why did you say no carnival? ....Slow and painful death is not the path of a Just leader and a True ruler.

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: well i need to make an example of them, i said no carnival cause it would be the opportune time for my enemy to attack

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: Did you explain that to them?

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: yes and they did not belive me my gaurds caught a spy and killed him in the niddle of the carnival, he was going to his master to tell them to attack

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: Well then there is indeed a problem. But it's not with the disobedient peasants. It's with you. If your subjects dont believe you when you tell them something is unsafe for them, you have most definitely not earned their respect and trust. Which says a lot about your leadership. Unfortunately, you must try to earn their trust. And murdering their own in cold blood, slow and painfully, is most definitely not the way to do it.

2005-11-18 [Furor Scribendi]: sigh* Well, for one, its undermine not undermind

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: sorry cant spell. i think they don't trust me because im the new king and they think i was a spoiled brat although i worked my entire child hood i grew up with peasents not my royal family. i just recantly learned of my royal heritage

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: Then why wouldnt they trust you? Take some time to think about it. And you seem like a spoiled brat to me, with your wanting to torture them slowly to death just to make them into an "example"

2005-11-18 [THE IRISH MAN!!]: yeah i know i was just angry and contiplating killin them i wouldn't do it though i was just looking to vent my anger by talking about it

2005-11-18 [Kelaria]: Right.... well if you say so.

2005-11-19 [Furor Scribendi]: *sigh* You seem to be taking advantage of your newly discovered heritage ...
